ANYWAY!!! Time for a fresh start of the new season.
This lil ol' blog is here to post about my most newest, bestest habit in the world (and no, it's not about my great grammar skills). Crocheting!! That's right, crocheting. That thing your grandma and maybe mom spent hours doing? Making all those awful doilies and off-white throws that made up the guest bed when you went to visit your relatives? Yes that.
Except because I'm me, my stuff had to be quirky and cutesy and make you gush and go SQUEEEEEEEEEE. It all started with my great pal Danielle. She was perusing Etsy::
Have you heard of Etsy? Of course you have. It's the best/worst website in the world because there are such awesome things to be had. One can spend hours and tons of $$$ because where else can you find wiener dog stuffed animals and Star Wars clay figures AND a stuffed owl garland? The possibilities are endless. So she found the cutest magnets ever. It was a vampire doughnut. The doughnut had eyes and vampire teef! OMG!!!
**Bing** went the light in my head to create things called amigurumi. Amigurumi is defined as a crocheted or knitted animal or item, usually given a face to make it oh so adorable. I looked up free patterns and found something relatively easy to create quickly. **BING** #2. Candy Corns! I wanted to make something that would be great for Halloween/Fall so I decided to make these little guys with different expressions and faces. I'm having so much fun creating them. So much that I made an Etsy store
